Social judgment theory is a concept of recognition and judgment of an idea by comparing it with current mindsets. It applies to our current topic of agreeing and disagreeing with who’s running for president 2020. Currently, our president of the United States is Donald J. Trump, and he’s running for the re-election for president in 2020 and representing the republican party. However, Joe Biden is running for president as well, and he is representing the democrats. In this discussion, I will respond to my views on who’s running for president in 2020, and what I agree and disagree with using the social judgment theory. Furthermore, I will have to support Joe Biden because of his experience and similar views of mine, to restore this country. Joe Biden has experience controlling and being part of the White House, he was Vice President and ran for president twice. There are things I hope and believe this country needs to improve our health care, education, and relationships with countries.
Joe Biden’s objectives and motives are expanding health care, investing in education, and rebuilding relationships with allies. We witness and saw the disconnection Donald J. Trump has made with other countries. As he created more conflict and issues with countries such as China, Germany, Iran, Mexico, North Korea, Syria, Turkey, Russia, and France! There are health cares organization such as Obamacare, who was cut from Donald J. Trump, therefore people are afraid about their health insurance cannot help them and care for them when something happens. It’s also the issue of education, teachers and students aren’t getting enough funding for their schools. As, Donald J. Trump is running for his re-election for president, and he hasn’t done anything positive or helped this country in my opinion. I haven’t on agreed anything he mentions on the media or press, latest was that he blames China for the spread of the coronavirus and should be punished. However, Donald Trump fails to keep America safe from the spread.
Therefore, why do I support Joe Biden? He would help to make new allies and fix our current relationship with other countries. France is one of the United State’s oldest allies and is not fully committed or supportive of Donald J. Trump. As I mentioned before, Biden has experiences that can help this country, he has allied with France before, with former President Obama. I agree with Joe Biden’s views on Donald J. Trump,

Donald J. Trump and his ego have cost to represent the United States.
Teachers aren’t getting paid enough and students isn’t getting enough education they need to secure their future, as teachers would pay supplies because the funding in school aren’t enough. Joe Biden will provide enough funding to eliminate gaps whether it’s poor or rich schools, he would give the same and enough support for student’s education. As a student, I would want the best support from my school to get enough supplies and professors or teachers to guide their students or me on the right path. Education is what helps students to secure jobs, therefore it important to me that students are getting the best support from teachers.
Healthcare is another issue that I agree with Biden’s views, to help people is to improve on healthcare. The country has issues that health insurance isn’t enough when something happens to people, and healthcare’s costs are expensive. Joe Biden provides a solution by the support and rebuilds Obamacare and other healthcare systems. As a result, Biden is what I agree with most of what this country needs and to improve on.
