Today, we will talk about students from K-12 of their ability to learn about Computer Science that will help their future and employment. I research K-12 students learning about Computer Science and it is very inspiring to read about these students are committed to learning and identifying concepts and practices. The concepts are the breakdowns and steps of knowing computer science and a student must learn then use them in practices from their actions and using their skills. If students use those two categories about computer science, they will help their school or themselves to create great things like programs and technology. In today’s world, it has high demands and expectations of someone who has experience and knowledge of Computer Science, therefore schools offer students from K-12, the classes and programs they need to shape their future.
Why is computer science a great program for K-12 students to learn and know about? Simple, to be software engineer, IT innovators, biologists, chemists, engineers, journalists, historians, or an artist, the K-12 students are capable to start early and learn. As they continue to learn more, the students have already known the concepts and practices they have done, before reaching to college or higher education. Schools are preparing students to learn about computer science by teaching the teacher first, then they would teach the students. High School teachers were preparing to teach computer science by 2015 in 10,000 high schools. High School focuses on the standards of computation that includes a problem solving, abstraction, algorithms, data, knowledge creation and programming as it is accomplished by computers provided, proper guidance, activities, group work, collaborations with their partners and communications These principles of computation help students to get an idea of learning computer science. As a result, computer science is what shapes a student’s future and pursuing their jobs and careers from it.
